Stone fruits, citrus, subtle hints of sliced pear, fresh crisp acidity with a savoury grippy texture across the palate to complete.

The site

Hudson Vineyard, Hilltops, NSW. The vineyard site sits at 560m altitude, located just south-west from the township of Young. The cool climate region provides warm days and cool nights during the ripening period, which helps retain natural acids in the wine.

Winemaking

Fruit was picked in the early morning, then cooled for 16 hours to increase the texture and phenolics in the wine before being pressed, racked from heavy solids, then 15% lees returned to tank to help build texture and grip, natural yeast, fermented at 17c in stainless steel, minimal sulphur added.
