Coppabella Vineyard, Tumbarumba NSW. The Coppabella site is in the ultra cool climate region of Tumbarumba, the site ranges in altitude throughout the vineyard from 550m to 640m. Think crisp clean air and running green hills with lush growing conditions.
Fruit picked, destemmed and put straight into open top fermenters. Pressed off at just under 2 Baume to capture just a small amount of reduction, then completed ferment in French oak where it was aged for 10 months.
